Unforgettable Farm Experiences
Immerse yourself in over 130 years of farming heritage at our family-owned and operated centenary farm in the picturesque Manawatu region of New Zealand. Founded in 1890, Grassmere Estate has evolved from a draught horse breeding farm to a modern, innovative agricultural business that combines dairy, beef and nut farming with exciting plans to venture into olives, and beyond. With our rich history, we are excited by the opportunities we see in the future with consumers, technology and innovation.
Nestled alongside the tranquil Oroua River, our farms offer a stunning natural backdrop, boasting ancient native Totara and Rimu trees, century-old walnut groves, and panoramic vistas of the Ruahine ranges. Visitors are invited to partake in a range of unforgettable farming experiences, from witnessing the milking process, to gaining insights into the latest AgTech and progressive farming systems, to feeding calves, foraging for nuts, and exploring our maize fields.
As seasoned hosts of farming tours, we have warmly welcomed groups of up to 50 from across the globe. We work with trade and international inbound tour operators and can customise tours to suit your group's needs.
